Epistle #2

Dear Thanksgiving,

I'm so sorry that I skipped you and wrote to Christmas. I really do love your special day. It's the one day of the year I can eat all I want and not feel guilty about it. For that, I am forever grateful. I love how you bring families together and then tag-team the holiday excitement to your brother Christmas. You rock.

Sincerely yours,
The Cysewski's

Dear Cysewski Family:

I am so glad you finally acknowledged my existence. So few do these days. Though I would love to accept your apology with sunshine and rainbows, I have been known to be the jealous type. Forgiveness can only be achieved if your family prances (yes prances) throughout the streets of your fair city preferably in turkey garb, gobbling and flapping your imaginary wings. When this act has been completed, I will consider getting over the pain I have endured. Until then I remain ever faithfully yours,

Thanksgiving
