A letter for a friend

Dear Christmas,

Can you please come now? This year, Christmas means we get to go home to our families. We want Christmas here now. Please?

That is all.

Love,

Dear Cysewski Family:

Much as I would like to come early, I feel you have seriously injured the tender feelings of my brother holiday, Thanksgiving. He too has always been true and faithful bringing joy (and pie) to the masses for all these many years. My brother Thanksgiving read your letter and is now weeping in the corner because of the ingratitude of Americans everywhere, passing over him unnoticed. He feels like the black jelly beans in the jar. Everyone else is picked first and he is most sad. Please remember that Thanksgiving has feelings too.

Love, Christmas

P.S. Your niece and nephew are watching Frosty the Snowman as I type this
